The Beginning of a New Era!

05/14/2025: Rustin Ice Hockey Club proudly welcomes Chris Francis as the new Head Coach of our Varsity Golden Knights! Coach Francis is a Penncrest alum and a former four-year D1 club hockey player at West Chester University. He founded the Kingsway Regional High School ice hockey program, serving as varsity head coach and leading the team to the S.J.H.S.H.L. Tier 2 Championship in 2014–15 — the same year he was named Coach of the Year. He’s also coached at Springfield High School and Harriton High School, and currently serves as an assistant coach at Neumann University. Coach Francis brings a fast, smart, and physical brand of hockey to Rustin. He emphasizes discipline, puck movement, and player development on and off the ice.

“I am extremely excited and honored to be the new Head Coach at Rustin. Rustin is one of the most decorated high school hockey programs in the area. Our goal is to return the program to this tradition of excellence. I want to thank, in advance, the board, families, alumni, and players for their future support.”– Coach Chris Francis

Welcome to the club, Coach — we’re fired up for the New Era of Rustin Hockey!
