03/27/2023: We’re not done yet!!! Congrats to the Rustin Middle School Navy team as they skated into the M.S. League Semi Finals this past weekend with wins over Downingtown East- OJR and Haverford. Best of luck to our Elementary Gold and Navy Teams as they enter into their playoffs series’. Finally, let’s give a warm welcome to our newest members of Rustin Ice Hockey – Boys Varsity Head Coach Ryan Smith and his assistants Mike Riley and Roy Donze. 2023 Flyers Cup Kickoff

03/06/2023: IT’S TIME!!! The Flyers Cup tournament kicks off tonight. Our #2 seeded Rustin Golden Knights will be facing off against a tough Wissahickon Trojans team. Game time is 8:30PM at PNY Arena. Tickets to the game must be purchased via the Flyers Cup box office at: https://www.flyers-cup.org/box-office. Also, be sure to come out to show your support for the Rustin Girls Varsity tomorrow night (03/07/2023) as the battle Kingsway in the first round of the Flyers Cup at 9:30PM @ PNY. Rustin Hockey – MARCH MADNESS!

02/28/2023: Welcome to Rustin Ice Hockey’s version of March Madness!!! The Junior Varsity team struck first by capturing the Sammartino Cup. Now Rustin’s Middle School, Girls Varsity, and Boys Varsity teams are currently competing for their respective leagues’ titles. Also, the Flyers Cup Tournament is right around the corner. All said, there are some awesome hockey games coming up for our players – DO NOT MISS OUT ON ANY OF THE ACTION! H.S. Sammartino Cup Champs!

02/24/2023: Congrats to our Rustin High School Junior Varsity Knights and coach Brett Christie for winning the 2023 ICSHL Sammartino Cup Playoffs! The team, led by captain Tedla Campbell, battled hard against a tough Owen J. Roberts team. Nonetheless, the OJR Wildcats were unable to get the puck past freshman goaltender Bruno Streit who stopped 32 shots as the Golden Knights prevailed to win the championship game by a score of 5-0.

CONGRATS Middle School All Stars!

02/13/2023: Congratulations to Rustin’s Middle School Allstars, Lucas Nguyen, Ryan Cooper, Ryan Meehan, Cash Pogharian, Hailey Smith, and Jamison Chatman-Royce! The Development League All star game will be held at Ice Line on 02/16/2023 at 6:30PM. The No-Check All Star game will be played on 02/21/2023 at 5PM. Please plan to come out and show some love and support for our fellow Knights!

GOOD CITIZEN -BRAYDEN DOYLE

02/03/2023: Congratulations to Brayden Doyle for being selected by the ICSHL to receive the Union League’s 2023 Good Citizenship Day Award. The league received a record number of entries this season; nonetheless, Brayden’s endless display of Heart, Character, and Discipline made him a standout candidate for the selection committee. Excellent work Brayden! We are proud to have you as a Knight – Most of all thank you for always being a great teammate and a GREAT CITIZEN!

Elementary Knights – #TeamSnow

02/02/2023: The Rustin Elementary Junior Knights showed their support this past weekend for classmate Snow. Snow attends a Rustin feeder elementary school and she is currently fighting cancer. Please consider joining our Rustin Elementary skaters by supporting Snow in her battle. T-shirts are currently for sale via Bonfire.com – the proceeds will go toward the family’s medical bills. Thank you to all of our Rustin Hockey players and their families for their endless efforts to show support to our community! #TeamSnow

Rustin Girls Varsity – Senior Night

01/30/2023: Tonight at 9pm at PNY Arena in Westtown, the Rustin Girls Varsity ice hockey team will celebrate and honor their seniors before they face off against Lower Merion.  The Seniors (left to right) are: Jenny Gallagher, Ashley Liberatore, Liza Congialdi, Fiona Simcox and Tess Nearhoof. We hope the remainder of their senior year is filled with fun and happiness — and wish them well in the playoffs and their pursuit of the Flyers Cup.  We are grateful to them for many great memories and wish them all the best as their journeys move on from Rustin High School. With a win tonight, the GV will return to 1st place in the American Division of the Inter-County Scholastic Hockey League.
